AN ORIGAMI MUSHROOM - PENNY BUN
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 3:
Roll the model up, in the direction of the arrow.
Make the tube as big as the one in the picture
of step 4.
Step 4:
Keep holding the model on the place at the thumb until
step 8. Otherwise the model opens again by itself.
Make a mountain-fold over the line below and a valley-fold
over the upper line. Now the piece between the two lines
lays over the piece above the upper line.
Step 5:
Make the same folds you made in step 4 at the 2 places
that are indicated with the 2 arrows.
When you made all these folds the white and grey piece
of the model is a bit smaller.
Step 6:
Flatten the model at the 2 arrows by pressing on it
with your fingers.
Step 7:
Hold the model at the 2 big arrows with one hand
and push the white/grey piece of the model a bit to
the left, inside the brown piece of the model.
Step 8:
Here you can see (at the arrow) that a part of the
white and gray piece of the model is inside the
brown piece of the model.
Step 9:
Push the piece at the arrow down, inside the model.
Step 10:
Do the same as in step 9 on other places of the brown
piece of the model. Work a bit clockwise or counterclockwise.
Step 11:
Hold the model with one hand at the two big arrows
and open the model at the bottom with your other hand,
see small arrow. Open it by pulling pieces of the edge
at the bottom of the model to the outside.
The mushroom is ready!
