FOLDING A PINK FLOWER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coloured. On the front is a yellow circle.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the black lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step 3:
Make 2 valley-folds below, on the right.
Make 2 mountain-folds in the middle.
Make 2 valley-folds on top, on the left.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step 4:
Make these folds on the upper 2 layers of the model.
Step 5:
Unfold the folds of step 4.
Step 6:
Pull the end at the arrow up by making a valley-fold over
the black line.
Step 7:
Flatten the pieces on the left and right over the lines
you made in step 4.
Step 8:
Now the model looks like this.
Repeat step 4 to 7 on the back of the model.
Step 9:
Make a valley-fold over the 2 black lines.
Do the same on the back of the model.
Step 10:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
The pieces at the bottom of the 2 lines go under the
upper layer of the model.
Do the same on the back of the model.
Step 11:
Fold the 2 petals up over the short black lines.
The petals become flat now.
Step 12:
Fold these 2 petals down and flatten them.
Step 13:
Flatten the yellow center of the flower.
(This is a difficult fold)
Step 14:
Fold the end of each petal up a bit over the short black
lines.
The flower is ready :-)
