FOLDING A RED FLOWER
Both sides of the square piece of paper are coloured. They are both the same.
Step 1:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over the 4 black lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step 2:
First, make 2 valley-folds below, on the right.
Then, make 2 mountain-folds in the middle.
And make 2 valley-folds on top, on the left.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step 3:
Pull the piece at the arrow up.
Step 4:
Flatten the piece, so it looks like the figure in step 5.
Step 5:
Repeat step 3 and 4 for the other 3 same pieces.
Step 6:
Fold the end at the arrow down by making an inside-reverse
fold.
Step 7:
On the right you can see how the end looks like after
the inside-reverse fold. Repeat step 6 for the other
3 pieces.
Open the petals a bit.
Step 8:
Make a valley-fold on the corner of each piece that is
indicated by an arrow.
The flower is ready!
