Step 1:
This is a white 20x20 centimeter paper with a selfdrawn pattern using yellow, orange and red coloring pencils.

Step 6:
Prefold over both lines

Step 5:
Squash-fold the flap.

Step 2:
Prefold in half over the 4 purple lines, then turn the paper.

Step 4:
Fold one flap straight upwards.

Step 3:
Valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom right, mountain-fold over the 2 diagonal lines and valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top left.

Step 10:
Repeat steps 4 to 9 on the other three flaps

Step 8:
Press the edges flat / downwards

Step 9:
Fold the triangle flap upwards.

Step 7:
Fold this edge downwards

Step 16:
Open the left side of the model, see arrow.

Step 15:
Bookfold one edge to the left, do the same on the backside.
Then rotate the model, see next step as guidance.

Step 12:
Fold the triangle flap to the inside.

Step 11:
Pull open.

Step 14:
Repeat steps 11 to 13 three more times.

Step 13:
Close the model again.

Step 21:
Fold over this line

Step 19:
Repeat steps 17 and 18 on the right.

Step 20:
Fold over these two lines and turn the model.

Step 18:
Bookfold this edge back to the left

Step 17:
Fold upwards over the purple line.

Step 22:
Pull this edge upwards.

Step 28:
Fold the wing upwards

Step 25:
Press this edge back downwards.

Step 26:
Turn the model.

Step 24:
Press flat, see arrows.

Step 23:
Fold over these two lines. The corners are pulled upwards by making these folds, see arrows.

Step 29:
Press this edge flat.
Repeat steps 28 and 29 on the other wing.

Step 27:
Make an outside reverse fold over the three short purple lines. Fold the model in half over the orange line while you do this.

Step 30:
Press / fold the corner flat between your fingers, do the same on the other side.

Step 31:
Make zig-zag folds on both wings.

Step 32:
Pull outwards.

Step 33:
Fold these two spots inwards.

Step 35:
Fold in half / flat over the purple line

Step 34:
Hold the model between two fingers, see yellow dot. Then press the tail wing flat with your other hand, see arrow.

Step 36:
Fold downwards by making a mountain-fold over the left line and a valley-fold over the right line (make the same folds on the other side).

Step 37:
Press / fold the neck in half.
