Origami FLAMINGO BOX

This is how to fold an elegant Flamingo shaped Box out of pink papers.

Step 1:
Take three pink papers of about 20x20 cm. Two papers are glued together and one is folded a little smaller on two edges.
Prefold the large paper in half and fold the edges to the prefolded centerline.

Step 6:
Prefold the left edge to the centerline.

Step 5:
Fold to the centerline and unfold the model.

Step 2:
Fold the edges to the centerline and unfold the model.

Step 4:
Fold the edge to the centerline.

Step 3:
Prefold in half and fold the right edge to the centerline.

Step 10:
Fold over these two lines

Step 8:
Fold over these 4 prefolded lines.

Step 9:
Fold over these prefolded lines.

Step 7:
Prefold the edge to the prefolded line of step 6

Step 16:
Make the same fold on the other side, use the prefolded line of step 7 as help

Step 15:
Press flat.

Step 12:
Make an outside reverse fold

Step 11:
Fold the model in half.

Step 14:
Sink fold over the prefolded lines

Step 13:
Rotate the model, see next picture

Step 21:
Fold these two edges straight upwards, use glue or tape.

Step 19:
Make the same folds as the two left lines on the other side of the head.

Step 20:
Fold flat and the edges straight downwards, see next picture as guidance.

Step 18:
Make the same folds on the other side.

Step 17:
Fold both flaps inwards, see white line as example. And make an outside reverse fold over the blue lines

Step 22:
This is how the inside looks.

Step 28:
Fold to the centerline and unfold the model.

Step 25:
Draw a black beak and two eyes.

Step 26:
And the lid is done....

Step 24:
Fold / bend the neck downwards

Step 23:
Make the same fold on the other side.

Step 29:
Repeat steps 27 and 28 in this direction.

Step 27:
The box paper is folded or cut a little smaller, so it fits better under the lid.
Prefold in half and fold the edges to the prefolded centerline.

Finally, fold the 4 flaps in half... DONE!

Fold over these prefolded lines.

Step 31:
Make sharper prefolded lines.

Step 32:
Fold the 4 corners inwards.
