ORIGAMI FRIED EGG
I use the folding paper for this fried egg
normally for flowers, but I found out that it was
also
usefull for my fried egg. Click here to see
the printable pattern.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the
backside is
completely white.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 2:
Pull the corner at the arrow on the
right to the corner
indicated by the arrow on the left.
Do this by making a mountain-fold over
the line on the
left and a valley-fold over the line on
the right.
Step 3:
Turn the model.
Step 4:
Fold the piece indicated by the arrow to
the left
by making a valley-fold over the blue
line.
Step 5:
Fold the loose piece (see arrow) to the
left by making
a valley-fold over the blue line.
Step 6:
Take the model in one hand at the place
indicated
by the arrow.
Step 7:
Keep holding the model the same as I do
in this picture,
so it can't open when you are making the
next folds.
Press the top of the model downwards
with one finger,
see arrow.
Step 8:
Press the model a little further
downwards on the edges,
see arrows.
Step 9:
Turn the model.
Step 10:
Make a mountain-fold over these 3 lines.
Step 11:
And make a mountain-fold over these
lines, so the
model looks more round.
Step 12:
Lay the model on the table and press the
white part of
the egg flat from above.
It's no problem if the model gets
wrinkled when you are
doing this, it makes the egg look a
little more realistic.
Step 13:
Finally, press the top of the
model flat from both sides
between 2 fingers (see arrow).
Done!
Wanna egg?
