Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:This is the front of the paper. The backside is completely white.
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 2:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines. Make these folds
over both layers of the model.
Step 3:
And make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 4:
Pull the ends at the 2 arrows towards each other and lay the end
on the left in this picture over the end on the right.
The edge at the green line lays over the edge at the 2 green
dots after you've done this.
Step 5:
Hold the model the same as I do in this picture.
Fold the end at the arrow on the right to the inside of the model
and the end at the arrow on the left to the outside of the model.
Now the model can't open by itself anymore.
Step 6:
Fold the corner indicated by the arrow to the inside of the
model by making a mountain-fold over the green line.
Step 7:
Fold the top of the model downwards by making
a mountain-fold over the green line.
Make this fold over all layers of the model.
Step 8:
Make all the edgy pieces on top of the helmet flat by pressing
on these pieces from above and below with your fingers,
see arrows.
Step 9:
The origami helmet is ready!
