ORIGAMI HOLLY LEAF with red berries
This is a great origami model for christmas
Step 1:
This paper is for a red berry, the size is 4x4 inch or
10x10 centimeters. The other side is completely red.
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 2:
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Then, turn the model again.
Step 4:
Prefold the model over this line.
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over these two lines.
Step 6:
Make a valley-fold over these two lines.
Step 7:
Open the model until it has the same shape as in step 4 again.
Step 8:
Prefold over this line.
Step 9:
Roll the model up by making valley-folds over these (prefolded)
lines.
Step 10:
Here a part of step 9 is already done.
Continue rolling up the model.
Step 11:
Press the edge indicated by the arrow inwards by making
a mountain-fold over the yellow line.
This line is prefolded in step 8
Step 12:
Press the edge indicated by this arrow inwards too by
folding over the prefolded line.
Step 13:
Press this edge over the edges of step 11 and 12 by making
a mountain-fold over the yellow (prefolded) line.
Step 14:
And press this edge over the edge of step 13
(Keep holding the model in one hand from step 10 to 15,
otherwise it will open by itself again)
Step 15:
Press the green part flat from aside by making a valley-fold
over this line and a mountain-fold on the same place at the
other side of the model.
Step 16:
Now the model looks like this,
turn it a little.
Step 17:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 18:
Bend/fold/curl the green part
Step 19:
Make 4 of these red berries.
Step 20:
This paper is for one leaf. The size is 4,5x4,5 inch or
11x11 centimeters
The backside is completely white here, to make the
instructions a little more clear to you.
Prefold over this line, then turn the paper.
Step 21:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 22:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Step 23:
Press the place indicated by the arrow inwards by making
an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines (=mountain-fold
over the line in the middle and a valley-fold over the 2 outer
lines)
Step 24:
Repeat step 23 on the places indicated by these 3 arrows.
Step 25:
Turn the model
Step 26:
Make 3 of these leaves
Step 27:
Glue the leaves together, see arrows.
Step 28:
Glue the place indicated by the small arrow to the spot
indicated by the large arrow.
Step 29:
And glue 3 more berries to the model.
