ORIGAMI ICE CREAM FOLDING
Only the front of the square paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over these 4 lines.
Unfold each fold after you've made one.
Step 3:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2 lines below, on the right.
Then, make a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the middle.
And make a valley-fold over the 2 lines on top, on the left.
Now you have made a basic-shape.
Step 4:
Make these 2 folds over the upper 2 layers of the model.
Step 5:
Unfold the folds you've made in step 4.
Step 6:
Pull the end at the bottom of the arrow upwards by
making a valley-fold over the purple line.
Step 7:
Press the edges that stand upwards flat from above,
see arrows.
Step 8:
Now the model looks like this.
Repeat step 4 to 7 on the backside of the model.
Step 9:
Fold the end downwards by making a valley-fold over
the purple line below. Then, fold the end upwards again
by making a mountain-fold over the upper line.
Do the same as above with the end on the backside of
the model, see pink arrow.
Step 10:
Fold the piece on the right of the purple line to the left
by making a valley-fold over this purple line (=bookfold)
Do the same as above on the backside of the model.
Step 11:
Fold the end below the purple line upwards by making
a valley-fold over this purple line.
Do the same with the end on the backside of the model.
Step 12:
Fold the end downwards by making a valley-fold over the
line below. Then, fold the end upwards again by making
a mountain-fold over the upper line.
Do the same as above with the end on the backside of the
model, see purple arrow.
Step 13:
Now, fold the end downwards again by making a
valley-fold over the purple line on the edge of the
model below in this picture.
Do the same with the end on the backside of the model.
Step 14:
Fold the piece on the right of the purple line to the left
by making a valley-fold over this purple line.
Do the same on the backside of the model.
Step 15:
Fold the end above the purple line downwards by making
a valley-fold over this purple line.
Do the same with the end on the backside of the model.
Step 16:
Press the white edge indicated by the arrow to the inside
of the model. Do this by making a mountain-fold over the
curved purple line.
Do the same on the other 3 white edges of the model.
These folds are to make the ice look less edgy.
Step 17:
Make a mountain-fold over the line on the right, make
this fold over all layers of the end on the right.
And make a valley-fold on the end on the left.
Do the same as above on the backside of the model.
Step 18:
Make the 4 pieces you've folded to the back and front
look more round by making mountain-folds on the corners
of these pieces, see pink arrows as example.
You don't need to be very precise making these folds.
Step 19:
Press the white part of the model a bit to the outside
with your finger by sticking a finger in the model from
below, see arrow.

Step 20:
Glue the 4 loose pieces at the bottom of the model
together, see the 4 pink arrows below in this picture.
Then turn/twist the top of the ice (see upper arrow)
a little bit counter clockwise.
The origami ice cream is ready!
