ORIGAMI NARCISSUS

I like this model very much because it looks very realistic despite the fact that I
used a plain yellow paper without any pattern on it.

                                                    Step 1:
                                                    This paper is completely yellow on both sides.
                                                    Prefold over these 4 lines.




                                                    Step 2:
                                                   Make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.






                                                    Step 3:
                                                    Turn the model.





                                                    Step 4:
                                                    Make these folds from the edge of the model
                                                    to the center, not any further.
                                                    First, make 2 valley-folds below, on the right. Then, make
                                                    2 mountain-folds in the middle. And make 2 valley-folds
                                                    on the top left.


                                                Step 5:
                                                    Pull the piece indicated by the arrow upwards by
                                                    making a valley-fold over the purple line.

                                                    Step 6:
                                                    Press the 2 layers indicated by the smaller arrows
                                                    against each other. Then press the loose piece flat
                                                    from above with your other hand, see large arrow.

                                                    Step 7:
                                                    Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.



                                                    Step 8:
                                                    Unfold the folds from step 7



                                                    Step 9:
                                                    Pull the edge indicated by the arrow downwards by making
                                                    a valley-fold over the purple line.


                                                    Step 10:
                                                    Press the edges indicated by the arrows flat from above.






                                                    Step 11:
                                                    Fold the triangular piece below the purple line upwards
                                                    by making a valley-fold over this purple line.


                                                    Step 12:
                                                    Repeat steps 6 to 11 on the other 3 pieces indicated
                                                    by the arrows.


                                                   Step 13:
                                                   Pull the petals at the bottom of the 2 arrows outwards,
                                                    in the direction of these arrows.



                                                   Step 14:
                                                   Fold the triangular piece above the purple line to the inside
                                                    of the model by making a mountain-fold over this line.


                                                   Step 15:
                                                   Push the 2 petals indicated by the arrows towards each
                                                    other again, in the direction of these arrows.



                                                   Step 16:
                                                   Repeat step 13 to 15 on the other 3 same triangular pieces
                                                    of the model.





                                                    Step 17:
                                                    Push the 2 pieces indicated by the arrows towards each
                                                    other by making a valley-fold over the purple line.





                                                    Step 18:
                                                    Pull the upper layer of paper loose from the rest of the
                                                    model at the places indicated by the arrows.




                                                    Step 19:
                                                    Make a valley-fold over these lines,
                                                    everything is already prefolded.

                                                                               Step 20:
                                                    Now you've made an extra petal.
                                                    Fold the petal upwards by making a valley-fold
                                                    over this line.

                                                    Step 21:
                                                    Repeat steps 17 to 20 one more time at the backside
                                                    of the model.


                                                    Step 22:
                                                    Now the model has 6 petals.
                                                    Prefold over this line.

                                                    Then, open the model by pulling all petals outwards.
                                                    You can also put a finger in the model and press it
                                                    outwards on different places.

                                                    Step 23:
                                                    Fold the piece in the center downwards by making
                                                    mountain-folds over these lines.
                                                    These lines are prefolded in step 22



                                                    Step 24:

                                                    Push the model back in the same shape as in step 22,
                                                    but now with the center folded downwards.
                                                    You don't have to make new folding lines to do this.



                                                    Step 25:
                                                    Pull the petal indicated by the arrow upwards by making

                                                    an inside reverse fold over these lines.

                                                    Step 26:
                                                    The arrow shows the petal you've just folded upwards.

                                                    Repeat step 25 on the other 5 petals.

                                                    Step 27:
                                                    Make a mountain-fold over these 2 short lines.

                                                    Step 28:
                                                    The arrow shows the petal on which you've made the

                                                    folds in step 27

                                                    Repeat step 27 on the other 5 petals.




                                                    Step 29:
                                                    Make a mountain-fold on the edge indicated by the arrow.

                                                    Make the same fold as above on each other same edge
                                                    of the model.

                                                    Step 30:
                                                    Push the corner indicated by the arrow downwards by
                                                    making an inside reverse fold over the 3 short purple lines.

                                                    Make a mountain-fold over the line in the middle and
                                                    a valley-fold over the 2 outer lines.

                                                    Make the same folds as above on the other 5 corners
                                                    above each other petal.

                                                    Step 31:
                                                    Two corners are not folded downwards in step 30, see arrows.

                                                    Fold these 2 corners downwards by just making a valley-fold

                                                    over the 2 short purple lines.

                                                    Step 32:
                                                    Push the center of the flower a little outwards, in the
                                                    direction of the arrows.

                                                    Step 33:
                                                    Make a mountain-fold on the tip of each petal. See the
                                                    short line at the arrow as example.

                                                    Step 34:
                                                    Push the tip of the petal on the right flat between your
                                                    fingers. Do this by making a mountain-fold over the short
                                                    line between the arrows.

                                                    Make the same fold as above on the other 5 petals.

                                                    Step 35:
                                                    The flower is done...

                                                    Step 36:
                                                    This paper is for a leaf.
                                                    Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.

                                                    Step 37:
                                                    And make a mountain-fold over the 2 short lines on the left.

                                                    Step 38:
                                                    One leaf is done.

                                                    Glue the flower to a stem.
