HOW TO MAKE AN ORIGAMI NECKLACE
I made white and pink beads for this necklace.
Step 1:
Take about 20 papers for each color, so 40 papers in total.
The size of these papers is 2,4x2,4 inch or 6x6 centimeters.
Step 2:
Take one pink paper.
The backside of this paper is white.
Turn the paper.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over the yellow line.
Step 4:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over these 2 lines.
Make these folds over both layers of the model.
Step 6:
Make a valley-fold over the line on the left.
This fold is to make the bead look better when you
roll it up later.
Step 7:
Now the model looks like this.
Take a piece of rope that is long enough for about
40 beads.
Step 8:
Roll the model up around the rope.
Begin with rolling at the place indicated with the arrow.
Step 9:
Add glue to the place indicated with the yellow arrow and
roll the model completely up.
Keep holding the model until the glue is dry.
Step 10:
The first bead is ready!
Step 11:
Take one white paper.
Fold the model in half over the yellow line.
Step 12:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Make this fold over both layers of the model.
Step 13:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Make this fold over both layers of the model too.
Step 14:
Lay the piece of rope with the pink bead on it over
this model.
Step 15:
Roll the model up around the rope. Begin rolling at
the place indicated with the arrow on the left.
Add glue to the place indicated with the arrow on the
right.
Now roll the model up completely and keep holding it
until the glue is dry.
Step 16:
Repeat step 2 until 15 about 20 times,
until the necklace is long enough for you.
Step 17:
Bind the 2 ends of the rope together with a loose knot.
The necklace is ready!
