ORIGAMI PARTY HAT
I made a tiny party hat here, but if you want, it can be made much larger then this one
when you use gift wrapping paper to fold it.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the backside is
completely white.
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 2:
Pull the 2 corners at the arrows towards each other, in the
direction of these arrows. Then lay the corner on the right
over the corner on the left. Make sure that the piece at the
dot on the right lays over the backside of the piece
indicated by the dot on the left.
Step 3:
Hold the model the same as I do in this picture.
Fold the end indicated by the arrow to the inside of the
model with your other hand. Do this by making a
mountain-fold over the blue line.
Step 4:
Fold the end indicated by this arrow to the inside of the
model by making a mountain-fold over the blue line.
Step 5:
Fold the piece at the arrow to the inside of the model
by making a mountain-fold over the blue line.
Now the model can't open by itself anymore.
You can glue the loose piece at my thumb to the rest
of the model to be really sure that the model can't open by
itself.
Step 6:
Fold the rest of the corners to the inside of the model
too (mountain-fold), see arrows.
Now the edge on the bottom of the hat is more equal.
Step 7:
If your hat is to large, just fold more pieces of the edge
to the inside of the model, see step 6
Step 8:
Fold this flower of a light blue coloured paper.

Add a little glue to the corner indicated by the arrow
and glue the flower to the top of the hat.
The origami party hat is ready!
