Both sides of the square paper are coloured.
Step 1:This is the front of the paper, the backside is
completely black.
Fold the paper in half over this line.
Step 2:
Prefold over this line.
Step 3:
Make an inside reverse fold by making a mountain-fold
over this line and a valley-fold on the same place at
the layer of paper below.
You actually just pull the corner indicated by the arrow
to the inside of the model when you make these folds.
Step 4:
Repeat step 3 on the left side of the model, see red line.
Step 5:
Make a valley-fold over these lines. Make these folds
over the upper layer of paper.
Step 6:
Repeat step 5 on the layer below, see arrows.

Step 7:
Fold the piece below the black line upwards, by making
a valley-fold over this line.
Step 8:
Repeat step 7 on the layer below, see arrow.

Step 9:
Make a valley-fold over the 2 short lines below, see
large arrows.
And make a mountain-fold over the 2 longer lines,
see the small arrows. Make these 2 folds over all layers
of the model.
Step 10:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 short lines.
Make these folds over all layers of the model.
Step 11:
Hold the model in your hands at the places indicated by
the yellow dots. Then, press these 2 places towards
each other, in the direction of the 2 green arrows.
The bottom of the hat will open while you do this.
