ORIGAMI PRIMROSE
Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper.
Make a mountain-fold over this line.
Step 2:
Fold the piece below the blue line upwards by making
a valley-fold over this blue line.
Make this fold over the upper layer of the model only.
Step 3:
Repeat step 2 on the backside of the model.
Step 4:
Unfold the model completely.
Step 5:
Repeat step 1 to 4 over these lines.
Step 6:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over these lines,
they are already prefolded.
You get 4 edges that stand upwards by making these folds,
see the picture of step 7.
Step 7:
Press the edge at the 2 arrows flat from above, in the direction
of these 2 arrows. Do this by making a valley-fold over the
blue line. This line is already prefolded.
Step 8:
Repeat step 7 on the edge indicated by these 2 arrows.
Step 9:
And repeat step 7 on the 2 edges indicated by these arrows.
You get a swirled center by making the folds in step 7 to 9.
Step 10:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 11:
And make a mountain-fold over these 2 short blue lines.
Do the same on the 3 other corners of the model.
(These folds are for making the model more rounded)
Step 12:
Hold the piece at the dot on the left between two fingers.
Then, grab the piece at the dot on the right with your other
hand and pull it to the left, to the place indicated by the dot
on the left.
Do this by making a valley-fold over the line on the left and
a mountain-fold over the line on the right.
Step 13:
Repeat step 12 on the other 3 places indicated by an arrow.
Step 14:
Press the center of the flower flat from above on the place
indicated by the arrow.
The flower is ready!
