ORIGAMI RABBIT
This is how to fold a cute rabbit with large ears and
white tail out of one
patterned paper square, you can also use a plain greyish paper for the
rabbit.
A printable rabbit paper is available here

Step 1:
The
backside of the paper is completely white. Prefold over these 4
lines.



Step 6:
Hold
the piece between two fingers, see large arrows. Then, press this
piece flat from above with your other hand, see small arrow.
Step 5:
Pull
the piece indicated by the arrow upwards by making a valley-fold
over the green line.
Step 2:
Make
a valley-fold over these 4 lines.
Step 4:
First,
make a valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom-right. Then, make
a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the middle. And make a
valley-fold over the 2 lines at the top-left.

Step 3:
Turn
the model.

Step 10:
Press
the edges indicated by the arrows flat from above.


Step 8:
Unfold
the folds of step 7.
Step 9:
Pull
the edge indicated by the arrow downwards by making a valley-fold
over the green line.
Step 7:
Make
a valley-fold over these 2 lines.

Step 16:
Repeat
steps 13 to 15 on the other 3 same places of the model.
Step 15:
Push
the 2 ends towards each other again, see arrows.
Step 12:
Repeat
steps 6 to 11 on the other 3 loose pieces.
Step 11:
Fold
the triangular piece below the green line upwards by making a
valley-fold over this line.
Step 14:
Fold
the triangular piece above the green line to the inside of the model
by making a mountain-fold over this line.



Step 13:
Pull
the 2 ends at the bottom of the arrows outwards, in the direction of
these arrows.


Step 21:
Repeat
steps 17 to 20 on the other 3 same places of the model.
Step 19:
Make
a valley-fold over these (prefolded) lines.
Step 20:
Now
you've made an extra end. Fold this end upwards by making a
valley-fold over the green line.
Step 18:
Pull
the upper layer of paper loose from the rest of the model. Start
pulling at the bottom of the edges, see arrows.
Step 17:
Push
or pull the piece on the left and right of the green line upwards by
making a valley-fold over this line.



Step 22:
Fold
2 flaps on the right of the green line to the left by making
valley-folds over this line.
Step 28:
Press
the model inwards from aside, see arrows. No new folding lines have
to be made to do this.
Step 25:
Prefold
over this line, fold the tip at the upper arrow to the corner
indicated by the arrow below.
Step 26:
Open
the model by pushing it outwards from the inside.
Step 24:
Repeat
step 23 on the other side of the model.
Step 23:
Valley-fold
over this line.



Step 29:
Now
the model has the same shape as in step 25 again, but the top is
folded downwards. Pull the end at the bottom of the arrow upwards.
Step 27:
Fold
the center of the model downwards by making mountain-folds over
these lines. These lines are prefolded in step 25.

Step 30:
Pull
the layer of paper indicated by the 2 arrows outwards. Do the same
on the other side of the end.
Step 31:
Fold
over these 3 lines. Then press the model flat from aside, see
arrows.
Step 32:
Pull
the end indicated by the arrow upwards. Do the same on the other
side of the model.

Step 33:
Pull
the head a little to the right. Do this by making a valley-fold over
the 2 lines at the right and a mountain-fold over the line at the
left. Make the same folds on the other side of the head.
Step 35:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the head.

Step 34:
Press
the place indicated by the arrow flat between your fingers, to make
sharper folding lines. Do the same on the other side of the head.



Step 36:
Make
an inside reverse fold over these 3 lines (=valley-fold over
the 2 upper lines and mountain-fold over the line below)
Step 37:
Hold
the nose between 2 fingers on the place indicated by the yellow dot.
Then press the tip of the nose flat with your other hand, see arrow,
against the fingers which are holding the nose.



Step 38:
Fold
the right part of the brown piece to the right by making a
valley-fold over the short green line. Do the same on the other side
of the model.
Step 39:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the model.
Step 40:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the model.
Step 41:
Valley-fold
to the left over the green line, see arrow. Do the same on the other
side of the model.

Step 42:
Push
the flap indicated by the arrow to the left by making a valley-fold
over this line. Do the same on the other side of the model.
Step 43:
Pull
the end at the bottom of the arrow upwards.
Step 44:
Pull
the layer of paper indicated by the 2 arrows outwards. Do the same
on the other side of the model.
Step 45:
Fold
over these 3 lines. Then press the model flat from aside, see
arrows.
Step 46:
Fold
the pieces indicated by the arrows to the inside of the model again.
All lines are prefolded. Do the same on the other side of the model.
Step 47:
Mountain-fold
over this line.
Step 48:
Push
the model flat from aside, see arrows.
Step 49:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other side of the model.
Step 50:
Mountain-fold
over this line, make the same fold on the other front-leg.

Step 51:
Push
the edge inwards by folding over these 3 lines (=valley-fold over
the line in the middle and mountain-fold over the 2 outer lines)
Step 52:
Fold
the brown part of the leg to the left by making a mountain-fold over
the line on the right and a valley-fold over the shorter line on the
left of the leg. Make these folds halfway the edge on the right, use
arrows as guidance
Step 53:
Repeat
step 51 and 52 on the other leg.
Step 54:
Push
the leg inwards on the place indicated by the upper arrow. Then push
the leg to the left on the place indicated by the arrow below. Do
the same on the other front-leg.
Step 55:
Hold
the model between two fingers on the place indicated by the yellow
dot. Then press the ears downwards with your other hand.
