Only the front of the square piece of paper is coloured.
Step 1:This is the front of the paper.
Turn the paper.
Step 2:
Make mountain- and valley-folds over these 4 lines.
Unfold each fold after you made one.
Step 3:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2 lines below. Then, make
a mountain-fold over the 2 lines in the middle.
And make a valley-fold over the 2 lines on top.
Now you get a basic-shape.
Step 4:
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 5:
Fold the piece indicated with the arrow to the backside by
making a mountain-fold over the green line.
Step 6:
Fold the piece indicated with this arrow to the right by making
a valley-fold over the green line.
Step 7:
Fold the piece indicated with this arrow to the backside
by making a mountain-fold over the green line.
Step 8:
Fold this piece upwards by making a valley-fold over the
green line.
Step 9:
Fold this piece to the backside by making a mountain-fold
over the green line.
Step 10:
Fold this piece downwards by making a valley-fold over
the green line.
Step 11:
Now the model looks like this.
Now rotate en flip the model over so it lays the same as
in the picture of step 12.
Step 12:
Fold the piece below the green line upwards by making
a valley-fold over this green line.
Step 13:
Here a part of the fold from step 12 is already done.
Now press on the edges that stand upwards (see arrows)
so everything becomes flat.
Step 14:
Open the model by pulling the upper 2 ends upwards,
see arrow.
Step 15:
Fold the piece on the right of the green line to the left
by making a valley-fold over this green line.
Step 16:
Fold the ends from step 14 (see arrow) back to the right.
Step 17:
Add a little glue between all the loose layers of the model.
Then press firmly on the model until the glue is dry.
Turn the model.
The origami star is ready!
