ORIGAMI SUNFLOWER
The only real difficult step in these instructions is the sink-fold in step 9
Step 1:
This is the front of the paper, the backside is
completely yellow.
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 2:
Make a mountain-fold over these 4 lines.
Then, turn the model.
Step 3:
Make a valley-fold over these lines.
Step 4:
Turn the model.
Step 5:
Prefold over these 4 lines.
Step 6:
First, make a valley-fold over the 2 lines at the bottom right.
Then, make a mountain-fold over the 2 lines next to these
first ones. Continue making valley- and mountain-folds until
the 2 lines on the top left.
You don't have to make new folding lines to do this,
everything is prefolded.
Step 7:
Prefold the model over this line. You can make a valley-fold
first and then a mountain-fold over the same line to make
the prefolded lines sharper.
Step 8:
Unfold the model until it has the same shape as in step 6.
Step 9:
Fold the center of the model down by making
mountain-folds over these lines.
You don't have to make new folding lines in steps 9 to 12
Step 10:
Here a part of the folds from step 9 is already done.
Step 11:
Press the model a little further inwards on the places
indicated by the arrows.
Step 12:
Don't press the model further inwards then I show in
this picture.
Turn the model.
Step 13:
Press the petal indicated by the arrow downwards,
see arrow. Do this by making a valley-fold over the line
on the left and a mountain-fold over the line on the right.
(The line on the left is already prefolded).
Step 14:
The arrow shows the petal you've folded downwards
in step 13.
Repeat step 13 on the other 7 petals.
Step 15:
Here more petals are folded down.
Step 16:
And here all petals are folded down,
the flower is ready...
Step 17:
This leaf-paper is coloured on both sides.
Make a valley-fold over this line.
Step 18:
Make a valley-fold over these lines.
Step 19:
And make a valley-fold over these 4 lines.

Step 20:
This is the backside of the leaf.
Turn the leaf.

Step 21:
Finally, I pressed the tip of the leaf (on the left in this picture)
flat from aside between 2 fingers.
Make 3 of these leaves, I made one leaf smaller then
the
other ones.
Glue the leaves to the backside of the sunflower.
Done!
